Some of you have been asking what the "College International de Recherche Servier (CIRS)" is.

In brief, CIRS is a foundation, created under the French Law of 1901. It is a non-profit organization which closely follows progress in diverse medical, scientific, economic, and sometimes political fields.

CIRS maintains close contact with opinion leaders in selected fields.

It organizes working committees throughout the year to follow progress in research into specific diseases, their consequences and remedies. During these roundtable discussions, new ideas and studies are collected in order to be published as Annals of the CIRS.

As expected, this working strategy has proved to be very stimulating and productive. The creation and development of fresh thinking represents a significant challenge for CIRS. Servier has encouraged original thinking since its founding.

In order to accomplish these goals, CIRS has state-of-the-art executive and administrative offices in France and North America.
